St Patrick's Day

The Mister was out with the car yesterday so I picked up the girls from daycare and we walked home. I found out (at 5:55pm mind you) that they're supposed to wear something green for St Patrick's Day activities today.

Miss Nearly-2 doesn't own any green clothes and I didn't have enough green fabric to make a whole dress so I made this:


Unfortunately, somehow, in doing so, I managed to snap BOTH needles on my overlocker, d'oh! Just when I had a big weekend of sewing planned. Looks like an early-morning trip to Spotlight is in order!

Well done!!! It looks great- I'd have done a run to Coles to find a green T- shirt.
